Junior Squash players off to compete in CASA tournament

Four top junior players, along with one coach and chaperone from the St Vincent and the Grenadines Squash Association, left the state yesterday to join other players comprising the OECS junior team to compete in the Caribbean Squash Area (CASA) tournament in Grand Cayman, from July 16 to 23, 2016.{{more}}

The team comprises: Giovanna Miller-Alexander (Girls Under 15), Kai Bentick (Boys Under 15), Mikal Quashie (Boys Under 17) and Jason Doyle (Boys Under 19). They will join Luca Reich (Boys Under 13) and Darci Reich (Girls Under 13) from Tortola.

The team was selected as per performance from the recently held OECS tournament in Tortola held in May.

There will also be participation of Thandi Myers and Deira Myers in the Girls Under 19 category, as they were not able to make the team because of non-participation in the OECS tournament.

The main sponsor for the team is the National Lotteries Authority.
