Pre-schools’ tennis tourney set for next month

The Pine Hill Inter Pre-schools’ Tennis Tournament will serve off on June 6 at the Grassroot Tennis Club (GTC) courts located at Murray’s Road.

The tournament will run over a three-day period, with competition among seven schools – Safe Hands Pre-School, Rainbow Unique Pre-School, Kingstown Methodist Pre-school, Salvation Army Pre-school,{{more}} Vinsave Pre-school Kingstown, Vinsave Pre-school Layou and First Impression Pre-school. Each school team will consist of six players.

This is the third year GTC will be hosting the tournament.

Head of GTC Grant Connell said he was indeed grateful to Pine Hill for their continued support of the development of the youths and assured the corporate sponsors that the children are very excited to participate in the upcoming event.

In a brief presentation ceremony last Wednesday at Coreas Food Division, Latoya Hull-George of Pine Hill handed over the sponsorship to head coach of GTC Trevor Sam, which was witnessed by Connell.(RT)
