Vincy men sweep OECS squash table

St Vincent and the Grenadines men took the first five places and won the men’s team title in the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Senior Squash Tour-nament which took place in St Lucia, May 12 to 15.{{more}}

Bossing the places were Jules Snagg, who topped the men’s singles for another year, ahead of Jason Doyle and third placed Kevin Hannaway.

Showing the Vincentian dominance, Othneil Bailey placed fourth and fifth was Eshwan Adams.

The other singles title that was pouched by St Vincent and the Grenadines was taken by James Bentick, who rasped the men’s over-40 title.

Also representing St Vincent and the Gren-adines were Omar Wilson, Giovanna Miller- Alexander and sister – Kenica.

The sisters came in second in the women’s teams title.

St Vincent and the Grenadines, who won the overall title in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, had to settle for the second spot behind the British Virgin Islands, who last won it in 2011.
