SVG hosts regional coaching workshop

St Vincent and the Grenadines recently hosted a regional two-day football coaching workshop, at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex. It was conducted by Marcelo Lipi of Italy.{{more}} Lipi led Italy to their last World Cup win in 1994, and has also won several Serie A championships in Italy, as well as a UEFA Champions League title with Juventus.

The workshop saw participation from Vincy Heat head coach Cornelius Huggins, assistant coach Wesley Charles, youth coach and national striker Ahzino Solomon, along with representatives from Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Suriname. Lipi urged the coaches to always strive for the best, while enjoying what they do, and said he looked forward to seeing great things from them.
