Meanwhile, the occasion was slightly different as three-time winners, Cane End Government, accepted their second place trophy.
And, completing the top three places, first timers in the final, St Maryâs Roman Catholic, finished third.
South Rivers Methodist rose above Cane End Government when the final was contested at the Arnos Vale Netball Complex recently.
The new champions posted 257, to which Cane End, who was seeking a fourth title in a row, responded with 239.
St Maryâs placed third, beating Layou Government in the play-off. St Maryâs made 267 and Layou replied with 245.
The other finalists were Sandy Bay Government, Fitz-Hughes Government, Paget Farm and Fair Hall Primary.
Chief organizer of the festival Stanley Hinds said that the delay in the presentation came about because of the late arrival of the trophies.
He said that the budding cricketers will next be involved in a quiz competition, which also forms part of the Kiddy Cricket programme.
