Year One DASGS Blockers trump in SVGCC volleyball
Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies Blockers have taken the 2016 QuickCash Corporation SVG Community College Inter Divisional Volleyball competition.{{more}}
Facing Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies Flames in the title decider last Thursday, the Blockers were the ones to ignite, as they won 3-1( 21 – 14, 21-9, 16-21, 22-20).
Rodell Fraser was adjudged Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the competition, as well as MVP of his team Blockers.
Taking the MVP award for the Flames was Jerony John, with Zoran Gerald the recipient for Year One Tech Chargers.
Ronnie Richardson bucketed the MVP award for Year Two Tech Impact, while Andrew Franklyn did so for Nursing Division Fusion and Claudia Ollivierre for Teacher Division Busters.
The next event on the calendar of the SVGCC takes place this Friday, with staging of the track and field finals at the Arnos Vale Playing Field.(RT)
