Year Two Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies Pacers overcame a late surge from Year One Technical Hornets, to win the 2016 QuickCash Corp SVG Community College Inter Divisional Basketball competition last Thursday, at the Villa campus court.{{more}}
A 57-52 triumph handed Year Two DSAGS the title.
Standout player Darreo Glasgow, the most valuable player of the tournament, as well as his teamâs most valuable player, registered a game high 27 points.
Jessie King bucketed 20 points, as he and Glasgow bulked their teamâs scoring.
Chad Stewart, the most valuable player for the Hornets, netted 25 points.
Akeel Jack was Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies Shootersâ most valuable player and Anthony Thomas, the corresponding recipient for Year Two Tech Ballers.
Jadez Alexander was adjudged the tournamentâs best defensive player.
Serving off today, Tuesday, March 8, is the QuickCash Corp Volleyball Competition, which also will be held at the Villa campus court and will feature six competing teams.(RT)
