RSVG Police put away the 2015 SVG Masters Cricket title last Sunday at the Arnos Vale One Playing Field, defeating Sion Hill in the final by three wickets.

Bowling for the law men, Parnell Browne was the leading wicket taker, with 3 for 22, which took his tally for the competition to 16.
The potent top order of the RSVG Police team began cautiously, but Sion Hillâs bowlers pegged them back, taking wickets at crucial intervals, including that of Gosnel Cupid.
With the match hanging in the balance, RSVG Police needed 27 from 18 balls, with the eight wicket pair of Renford Jack and Elvis Thomas at the crease.
Jack struck two telling sixes, to bring the match within reach.
It was all over, bar the shouting, as Police comfortably crossed the line at 108 for 7, with three balls to spare, thus playing unbeaten throughout this yearâs competition.
Parnell Browne stroked 31; Renford Jack punched a valuable 24 not out and Gosnel Cupid â 21.
Bowling for Sion Hill, Augustine Victory had 2 for 15; Joseph Medford grabbed 2 for 17 and Gary Rodriquez â 2 for 19.
This meant that RSVG Police added the 2015 edition to previous titles won in 2007 and 2010. For Sion Hill, it was another painful loss, after succumbing to North East in 2014 at the Park Hill Playing Field.
Fifteen teams participated in this yearâs competition.(RT)
