Among the locals, the first place in the Under-20 category gets EC$400, second – $200 and third place – $150.

In the case of the open segment or over-20 for local athletes, the winner collects $600, the second place, $300 and $200 goes to the third place finisher.

These prizes are for both males and females.

Additionally, the first athlete to cross the 5 km mark will pocket US$100.

Also at stake is a team prize of EC$300, which is open only to local athletes.

Each team must comprise five individuals, one of whom must be a female. The position of the first three athletes from each team crossing the finish (one must be a female) will be computed to select the winning team. The team with the lowest score wins the prize money.
