This is a result of Morganâs successful performance at the Olympic Solidarity sponsored International Support Programme for African and Caribbean Sport (PAISAC), which he undertook in Montréal, Canada, in 2013, which enabled him to compete for the Japan scholarship.
A release from the National Olympic Committee of St Vincent and the Grenadines stated that Morgan was strongly recommended by the founder and president of PAISAC, Pierre Ambroise Preira.
âMr Morgan is among the coaches that PAISAC plans to incorporate into its trainer of trainers network, once he will have followed our 2016-2017 Advanced training programâ Preira stated.
âFor its part, PAISAC agrees to pay his course fees and his online resources… Such is the high esteem in which this Vincentian coach is held by the leadership of PAISAC,â Preira added in his correspondence of request for Morgan.
A graduate of a Venezuelan university, where he studied Sports Training with Specialization in football, Morgan has been leaning towards track and field.
Since returning in 2011, Morgan has overseen the formation of the track and field unit Negative to Positive (N2P).
The Layou based N2P has notched up four successive titles in the National Juvenile Championships put on annually by Team Athletics SVG, and this year added the Kids In Athletics to the list. (RT)
