Vincentian is highest world ranked Caribbean U-19 squash player

Vincentian Jason Doyle is currently the highest ranked Under-19 boys’ squash player in the world junior rankings.

In the rankings released last month, Doyle was listed 23rd, the same as Arbab Aizaz Hussain of Pakistan. Doyle has moved up 10 places from 33.{{more}}

Another Vincentian male player who has also progressed in the rankings is Mikal Quashie, who stands at 109 from his previous 114. The rankings are headed up by Peru’s Diego Elias.

Like Doyle and Quashie, sisters Thandi and Deiriai Myers have registered upward movement in the Girls Under-19 world rankings.

Thandi has moved from her previous placing of 51st to 41st and Deiriai from 69th to 61st.

Egypt’s Nouran Gohar is the present number one ranked Under-19 female player in the world.

Meanwhile, Doyle and Thandi Myers are representing St Vincent and the Grenadines at the Commonwealth Games in Apia, Samoa, September 5 to 10.
