Female talent spotted in SSTTA camp

Some female talent was sighted when the Sean Stanley Table Tennis Academy (SSTTA), in collaboration with the St Vincent and the Grenadines Table Tennis Association (SVGTTA), staged a two-week school vacation programme.{{more}}

Held from August 10 to 21 at the West St George Secondary School, a total of 25 participants got their first taste of the sport.

Sean Stanley, who was the main facilitator, told SEARCHLIGHHT that he was pleased with the showing of the youngsters and welcomed especially the female participants.

Encouraged by the enthusiasm of the participants, Stanley commented: “Even when it rained, they came out to the sessions.”

Stanley noted that it is now the task of his academy, the executive of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Table Tennis Association and others, to keep the youngsters in the sport.(RT)
