Taylor sewing up East Blazers’ success in BBA tourney

Stevorn Taylor’s move from Duke to East Blazers has proven to be an incisive one, as he is on the cutting edge for his new outfit in the 2015 Vita Malt Bequia Basketball Tournament.{{more}}

After appearing in five matches, Taylor is the leading scorer, stitching up 108 points. He has torn down 38 rebounds, while making 15 assists.

Also to his good, Taylor has pocketed 16 steals and zipped up two blocked shots.

So far, East Blazers have played unbeaten in the first division of the tournament winning all five matches.

Duke, who have won the division for the past four years, are in second place and Warriaz, third. Warriaz, however, have six matches completed. Warriors and The Generals complete the table.

Taking the lead in the Second Division is Blazing Heat, with Rising Stars II in second place. Wizards II and Young Duke follow in that order.

Meanwhile, in the developmental Under-16 Division, Titans lead the pack after eight matches, followed by Dragons and Hornets.

Hawks, Rockets and Young Wizards trail the top three.
