Vincentian participation in the girls’ Under-14 will come from Anastacia White, Myka Williams, Cristine Veira, Beyonce Winter-Da Breo, Briana Nash and Nikalette Hadaway, while the trio of Antonio Cain, Akiel De Roche and Miguel Francis carries the weight for the boys.

Meanwhile, the pairs of twin sisters – Amarlia and Gabrielle Benn and Luka and Denee Lyttle – will be trying to pack some punches of their own among the heavyweights in the girls’ Under-18. Also slotted in among the list of Vincentians is Khyana Singh.

Top Under-14 player Alexi Humphrey will venture out in the Under-18 category, according to president of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Tennis Association James Bascombe.

And, in the boys’ version of the Under-18’s, hopes are pinned on Imani King, Alexander Cyrus and Taj Ballantyne. Sebastian Cyrus, however, is among those who have to first hurdle the qualification, before he can entertain thoughts of making the main draw.

King and Ballantyne would be looking to better their efforts from their outing last week in St Lucia.

In the St Lucia leg of the circuit, both the Lyttle and Benn twins were ousted in the first round of the main draw, while King reached the third round of the qualifiers and Ballantyne – the first stage.

Apart from St Vincent and the Grenadines, participation in the tournament will come from Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bolivia, Canada, Costa Rica, Curacao, England, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Libya, Mexico, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, St Lucia, USA and Uzbekistan.(RT)
