Carrington, who resides in New York, USA, has been joined by other local and overseas coaches in conducting a six-week camp at the Grammar School Playing Field for aspiring footballers from around the country between the ages of five and 15 years.

Apart from other contributions, LIME has provided the Sammy Carrington Sports Foundation with T-shirts, which the former national coach says gives the boys a sense of identity.

“We are happy to receive the T-shirts which would make it easy to identify someone who is attending the camp.

“LIME came on board as a partner with us, and their input towards the camp is a positive one.”

While on camp, the players would learn new football techniques from Carrington and his coaches, as well as upgrade the ones with which they have been gifted as they strive for excellence and a place on the national team and the international stage.

Nikala Williams, LIME senior marketing executive, says that the contribution to the Sammy Carrington Sports Foundation, as well as other sporting teams, organizations and groups, shows that LIME is in tune with the sporting culture of this country and would continue to support, in anyway possible, sports in St Vincent and the Grenadines.”
