Completing the rungs of educational institutions, the DTVE registered 460 points, edging out the Division of Arts Science and General Studies (DASGS) who amassed a score of 458 by a mere two points.

With the likes of the twin brothers – Rueberth and Reberto Boyde, Lennox Spence, Shantal Rouse, Caswell Lewis and Chantal John in their ranks, the DTVE started the day as heads on favourites.

Docking in third was the Division of Nursing Education – 168 and the Division of Teacher Education – 96.

DTVE went into the finals leading as well, having compiled 201 points from the heats, with the DASGS- 181. Despite of the sometimes valiant efforts on the track, it was the Cheer Leading component, which generated the most interest.

Adjudged top in the Cheer Leading was DTVE over their lone opponent – the DASGS. Prior to last Friday’s Track and Field, the various faculties were engaged in Football and Netball competitions. (RT)
