Topsidaz recorded a 55-run win at the expense of Campden Park Strikers.

Choosing to bat first, Topsidaz posted 114. Levan Richardson was Topsidaz’s lead batsman with 29. Bowling for Campden Park Strikers, Fitzmore Peters took 4 for 32.

Then Man of the Match Markneil Lewis led the bowling charge, as he snared 4 for 10 in his four overs, to send Campden Park Strikers packing for 59.

But was the KLM Men versus Keartons that provided the excitement, as the two “home” teams battled it out in a low scoring affair.

Batting first, Keartons was dismissed for 61. Demol James was the pick of KLM Men bowlers, grabbing 4 for 16 and Lance Caesar supported with 3 for 15.

KLM Men, on the back of Kensley Gordon’s 26, reached 62 for 7, to trump by three wickets.

Glen United, though, journeyed to the venue, only to return dry, but with the points in the bag, as their intended opponents Buccament were absent when play was called.

Another set of matches will be played this Saturday and Sunday.(RT)
