Johnâs ton came last Saturday afternoon at the Dauphine Playing Field, and pushed his team to 220 for 7 from their allotted 20 overs. Also contributing to Noviceâs total were Elton Williams – 23 and Sydney Campbell – 22.
Feeling the wrath were the bowlers of Glen United, but in between, Cassius Welcome took 2 for 41 and Cornelius Edmonds – 2 for 45.
In reply Glen United were dismissed for 59 in 16.2 overs.
John also starred with the ball, as he grabbed 2 for 3 and Desron Spring had 2 for 19, as Novice romped to a 161-run triumph.
This was the lone match that saw on field action on Saturday, as the other scheduled matches ended with Gomea Bombers winning from Mac Lil Saints by default. Heavy rains prevented any play on Sunday.(RT)
