SVG U-20 women’s football squad to do battle in Suriname

An eighteen-member squad has been selected to represent St Vincent and the Grenadines in the CFU Group 3 of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Canada 2014 Qualifiers which is scheduled to take place in Suriname from today, July 16 to 20, 2013.{{more}}

The team will be accompanied by five officials, namely Yoland London – manager; Andrew Bramble – coach; Keith Ollivierre – technical director; Denis Byam – physiotherapist and Shelly Browne as kit manager.

The members of the team are: Uchrista Watson (captain), Darie-Ann Duncan (VC), Akeila Gibson, Geziel Wilson, Aryel Lewis, Chrislyn Browne, Kimerly Nero, Tamara Matthews, Shian Perry, Janique Browne, Zonnia Toby, Kyla King, Altica Benn, Shavena Samuel, Nadia Peters, Annesta Richards, Raenicia Cuffy and Chenise Hendrickson.

The contingent left St Vincent last Saturday and will return on July 21. Group 3 comprises Dominica, Grenada, St Vincent and the Grenadines and host nation Suriname. Should SVG qualify, the Group Finals would be held in Puerto Rico from December 11 to 19.
