Team Athletics SVG will commence its annual road racing programme with the usual Round D Town Road Relay on October 2, 2011, beginning at 3:00 pm.{{more}}

The road relay will witness participants competing in four categories, primary schools, secondary schools, an open division and, for the first time ever, an international category, where teams representing the countries of St. Lucia, Grenada, St. Kitts, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago and host country St. Vincent and the Grenadines will compete for attractive cash prizes.

Following the Round D Town Relay, a cross country race will be held at Diamond, then to be followed by a series of 5 km road races every Sunday in various parts of the country.
