The team is made up of six players who have previous experience at that level.

The six are Asif Hooper, who has been named Captain, Sunil Ambris, Shaquille Browne, Derron Greaves, Kentish Phillips and Teran Simon.

Ambris, Browne and Phillips have gone on to represent the Windwards at the regional age group tournament.

The rest of the hopefuls are Davian Barnum, Javerdeen Browne, Romario Bibby, Kenneth Dembar, Ray Jordan, Darius Martin, Kadier Nedd, Kenville Sam, Andrew Thomas, Ricarvo Williams and Wesley Williams.

Four of these players will be among the reserves, when the final cut is announced, days before the 13-member team departs.

When the tournament was held here last year, St. Vincent and the Grenadines finished last, while St. Lucia copped the title for the first time since 1987. Dominica, in 2010, placed second and Grenada, third.(RT)
