Both teams are on seven points from two matches, and both had their second round match affected by rain.
But while the Windwards got some match practice in their last outing in Grenada against defending champions Jamaica, the Guyanese saw no action as their match versus the Leewards was abandoned without a ball being bowled, because of heavy rains.
The Windwards and Jamaica lost the second day of their encounter, also due to rain.
The Windwards, who in their first round match, won on first innings against the Combined Campuses and Colleges, but lost outright, lost on first innings against the Jamaicans last weekend.
The 2010 champions batted first and tallied 214. Chadwick Walton scored 45, and the inform Marlon Samuels, 40, and Dave Bernard Jr. scored 35.
Right arm medium fast bowler Mervyn Matthew grabbed 3 for 29, and left arm seamer Kenroy Peters, 3 for 31.
Keddy Lesporis topscoed with 33, and Donwell Hector, 28, as the Windwards replied with 115.
West Indies fast bowler Jerome Taylor took 4 for 47. Dave Bernard Jr, 3 for 17, and Odean Brown, 3 for 32, restricted the Windwardsâ suspect batting.
With a lead of 99, Jamaica was 53 for 4, batting a second time, with rain again having a major say.
Also fixtured for this weekend are Barbados against Jamaica at the Kensington Oval in Barbados, the Leewards versus the Combined Campuses and Colleges at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda, and Trinidad and Tobago host the guest team Trinidad and Tobago at the Queenâs Park Oval.
This weekendâs match at the Arnos Vale venue will be followed next weekend by the Windwards versus Trinidad and Tobago clash. (RT)
