Williams House retains title at PBSS
Petit Bordel Secondary School held their annual Inter House Athletic meet on Thursday, February 17, 2011, with four houses competing: Rodney House, Shallow House, Stephens House and Williams House. The houses are named after past Principals.{{more}}
Prior to the finals, the school had their Road Race on January 28, 2011, which saw Antonio John placing first, Caswel Lewis second, Danalson Bobb third and last yearâs winner Yurnic Nanton placing fourth in the male division.
In the female division, Fulicia Creese placed first, Anada Francois second and Oneisha Lavia third.
The Road Relay was then held on February 4, 2011, when in the male division, Williams House placed first, Stephens House second, Rodney House third and Shallow House fourth.
In the female division, Rodney House was first, Williams House second, Stephens House third and Shallow house fourth.
February 11, 2011 was historic, as High Jump was done at the school for the first time. Eziekel Stapleton and Patesha Thomas emerged winners in the male and female junior divisions respectively; Kimar Ashton and Kishawna Jack in the male and female intermediate division respectively; and Mike Francis and Shannel Mckie in the male and female senior division respectively.
On the day of the finals, Melony Woods of Williams House emerged Junior Girls Champion, Eziekel Stapleton of Shallow House Junior Boys Champion, Anada Francois of Rodney House Intermediate girls champion, Caswel Lewis of Williams House Intermediate Boys Champion, Jamie Jordan of Stephens House Senior Girls Champion and Victrix Ludorum and Yurnic Nanton of Stephens House Senior Boys Champion and Victor Ludorum.
At the end of the day, Shallow House placed 4th with 653 points, Stephens House 3rd with 751 points, Rodney House 2nd with 772 points and Williams House 1st with 805 points.
