In reply, Sunset Strikers was dismissed for a paltry 26, as Osbourne Lavia 3 for 17, Troy Harry 3 for 9, and Lesborn Lavia 2 for 0, ensured an easy victory.

But Owia Shottaz could not repeat their performance as they were humbled by Ken’s Plumbing and Associates Simple Boys.

Owia batted first and reached 88 for 7 off their 20 overs. Ziggy Baptiste was the topscorer with 18. Troy Harry chipped in with 14. Travis Cumberbatch took 3 for 15.

Also recording a win was Nar Fren Dem over Young Strikers.

Nar Fren Dem got to 82 in 18 overs. Dillon Matthias scored 19. Eversley Mc Coy 4 for 19, Desron Lavia 2 for 7, and Roger Thomas 2 for 13, were the main wicket takers for Young Strikers.

At their turn at the crease, Young Strikes was stopped at 54, to lose by 28 runs.

Krishna DaSilva 3 for 14, Gary Matthews 3 for 9 and Kenford Collins 2 for 9, bowled Nar Fren Dem to their win.

But, it was easier for Gomea Bombers, who won by default over BEDCO and for Under Dogs, likewise over East Bank, who also failed to show up at the Dauphine Playing Field. (RT)
