In what was a very exciting finish, Cavaliers Sports Club bowled away with another win in the 2010 Brooklyn Cricket League at the Marine Park last Saturday.{more}}

Set a target of 167 to win by Wanderers, Cavaliers seemed set to wipe off the score with overs and wickets to spare.

After reaching 100, with the loss of only two wickets, the table turned and wickets began crumbling, as Cavaliers slipped from 102 for 3 to 103 for 6. The Vincy outfit was not to be outplayed and took it to the end with 167 for 8.

When Wanderers batted, Orando Mofford took 3 for 13, Brian Henry, 3 for 22, and Cameron Cuffy, 2 for 27, to emerge as the main wicket takers for Cavaliers.

When Cavaliers took the crease the main scorers were Richie Rampaul, 45 not out, and Albert Tesheira, 30.

While Cavaliers was blasting in the win, Queensbury was not as successful. They went under to Punjah. Set 217 by Punjah, Kiron Cuffy, 4 for 23, Kenneth Charles, 3 for 49, Gregory Blair, 2 for 42, and Bruno Henry, 2 for 37.

Queensbury struggled to make the runs set by Punjah, with Jermaine Lawson, 62, being the only creditable scorer.

In reply, Queensbury could only make 153 all out , losing the game by 64 runs.

This weekend, Memorial Weekend, Cavaliers will take their winning ways across the Border as they travel to Montreal, Canada, for their annual Bus Ride.

While in Canada, they will be hosted by SVG Mets Cricket Club. They are set to play two matches.
