SVG to host two matches in the WICB 2009 competition

St.Vincent and the Grenadines will be hosting two cricket matches this month, as the regional WICB four day cricket competition continues.{{more}}

From today, Friday March 13th, the country will host the game between the Windward Islands and the Combine Colleges and Campuses, at the Arnos Vale Playing Field. The match begins at 10am and will run until March 16th.

The Windwards are currently second in the competition behind leaders Jamaica.

Then on March 20th, the country will host the match between the Windwards Islands and Trinidad and Tobago.

The SVG Cricket Association is currently making final preparations for the matches.

The Association says that it is offering opportunities for young persons to attend the matches.

According to the Association, school children in uniform will be admitted to the games at no cost. Women with young children will also be admitted free to the games.
