Sarwan ruled out of England tour

West Indies captain Ramnaresh Sarwan will play no further part in the tour of England after damaging his shoulder in the second Test at Headingley.

The 26-year-old will return to the Caribbean after he injured his right acromioclavicular joint diving on the boundary during England’s innings.

“It will take six weeks to heal and he will not be able to take any further part,” team manager Mike Findlay said.
