New club on the scene XCeed Sports Club finished second with 213 points, followed by the West St. George Secondary with 195 points.

With domination of the schools as many of the clubs have gone into hibernation, most of the divisional titles also went the way of the schools.

The Under-16 girls title was won by Teneca James of XCeed, with Dorison Douglas of the Grammar School copping the boys category of that age group.

Leslie Duncan of West St. George was the girls Under-18 winner and Yurnic Nanton of the Petit Bordel Secondary School emerging boys champion.

Loveisha Stapleton of Troumaca Secondary won the Girls Under-20 title, while the Boys Under-20 champion was Lawrence Arthur of the St. Vincent Grammar School.

There was a lone divisional champion among the over 20’s and that was Renrick Williams of ACE. No females competed in this age category.

The over 40’s or veterans division saw Andrea David of ACE capturing the top spot with Andrew Bramble of West St. George.

These individual awards among others will be presented when Team Athletics SVG holds its annual prize giving ceremony in December. Last Saturday’s championship was in celebration of World Athletics Day.
