Double win for Troumaca United

Troumaca United made some progress towards the next round of the Vinlec North Leeward Senior Cricket competition with two victories over the weekend.

They secured a narrow win over defending champion D’Affairs in the second fixture on Sunday. {{more}}Powered by innings from Brian Jocelyn 48 and Emil Anthony 36, Troumaca reached 194 for 9 off 33 overs. That was in reply to D’Affairs’ 195 from 33.4 overs. Harley Skerritt 37 was the leading batsman for D’Affairs with Phillip Anthony 5 for 45 the chief wicket taker for Troumaca.

The previous day Saturday also at Petit Bordel Playing Field, Deron Dembar 5 for 15 helped set up the Troumaca United victory. Smokey was dismissed for 99 in 20 overs. Keron Caesar 39 was the main run getter for Smokey.

Troumaca United reached 102 for 6 off 20 overs.

The action continues this weekend at the Petit Bordel Playing Field with Young Strugglers playing Enforcers tomorrow Saturday and Cool Veterans take on Ajuba One in Sunday’s showdown.
