Kingstown Convent/ Grammar School shine at Inter School’s sports

St. Joseph Convent Kingstown, with 202 points, won the overall Female category at the Container Corporation’s Inter-Secondary School Athletic competition last week Wednesday.

Convent captured the Junior section with 57 points, Intermediate 94 points, and was third in the Senior with 55 points. {{more}}

Girls’ High School was second overall with 193 points followed by Emmanuel High School Kingstown 130.

St. Vincent Grammar School, 264 points won the Male overall championship. Grammar School was propelled to their title with 78 points in the Senior Division, 94 points in the Intermediate, and 82 at the Junior level.

St. Martins Secondary 155 placed second overall, while Campden Park Secondary 141 took third spot.

Emmanuel High School won in the Senior Girls Division with 97 points with Petit Bordel Secondary 69 second.

Leanna Lewis took the Victrix Ludorum title with 22 points to give her school, St. Joseph Convent Marriaqua something to be proud of.

Rafique Providence, from St. Martins Secondary took the Victor Ludorum.

The Union Island Secondary showed that they would be in for future reckoning with Boys champions in two Divisions. Shandelle Ballantyne copped the Intermediate with 19 points while Kelroy Alexander who amassed 25 points took the Junior title.

Ansil Compton from St. Joseph Convent Kingstown won the Intermediate Division with 20 points and North Union’s Crystel Neverson was the Junior Girls Division winner.
