North Leeward Under-15 team does the hat-trick

St. Vincent Co-operative Bank/North Leeward Under-15 Cricket Team retained the Frank Mason Trophy; symbol of youth cricket in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
St. Vincent Co-operative Bank/North Leeward made light work of Marriaqua defeating them by 109 runs in the Final of the Zonal Under-15 Cricket competition Saturday, July 31, 2004.
North Leeward piled up 223 for 6 off 50 overs. Kesrick Williams, 59 not out, was the star of the North Leeward batting. He was supported by Lorenzo Edwards, 59, Shelton Hooper, 25, and Elron Lewis, 23. They were helped with a healthy contribution of 42 extras. Roger Dasent, 2 for 24, and Andrell Holder 2 for 44 were the main bowlers for Marriaqua.
They replied with 114 all out off 32.3 overs. Andrell Holder, 43, put in good all-round performance, but only Kyron Cottoy, 21, gave him any solidarity.
Shelton Hooper, 3 for 28, and Kesrick Williams, 2 for 29 were the chief wicket takers for North leeward.
Over the past five years of this competition, St. Vincent Co-operative Bank/North Leeward has won the competition four years.
They won the first, lost the second to Marriaqua and won the third, fourth and fifth.
