St. Vincent and the Grenadines recently received two awards from the Caribbean World Travel Awards 2007.
This year we were awarded âThe Caribbean Island of the year 2007â and âThe Honeymoon Island of the year 2007â.{{more}}
This Award programme is in its 13th year and the awards are voted by the readers of the Caribbean World Magazine, and the magazine itself.
The Actual awards are those of magnificent race horses standing proudly on their hind legs.
The Caribbean Island of the year 2007 award is one of the 2 most prestigious of the Caribbean World Magazine travel awards.
A Broadcast of all the winners was done and will be broadcast for an entire year until October 30, 2008, on the online Caribbean World TV channel which can be seen at www.caribbeanworld.tv. The Ministry of Tourism is very pleased with this accomplishment and looks forward to the continued support of the public in helping St. Vincent and the Grenadines retain the title of âCaribbean Island of the Yearâ.
