Barrouallie Secondary marks 55th anniversary
The Barrouallie Secondary School marks its 55th anniversary with a set of activities that commence on January, 9 2026 with a school pride march and parade.
A release from the school said the commemorative activities will be held under the theme ‘Honouring Our Heritage, Building the Future’.
The march and parade will begin at the old school grounds and proceed to the new Barrouallie Secondary School compound at Peter’s Hope, where an official press launch will be held. The school said this symbolic journey represents the school’s growth, resilience, and steadfast commitment to excellence over the past 55 years. They have extended an invitation to members of the public, alumni, parents, and supporters to demonstrate their school pride by wearing any branded shirt of the Barrouallie Secondary School, while students will march in full uniform. In addition to the march and parade, the school will also have a thanksgiving church service on
Sunday, January, 11 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Barrouallie Evangelical Church.
