Six students receive NTRC bursaries

SIX STUDENTS received have bursaries from the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission ( NTRC) which launched its annual bursary programme in 2017 and has continued to provide support to primary and secondary school students across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). In 2025, six students- three from primary schools and three from secondary schools, were awarded bursaries to assist with school related expenses for the 2025-2026 school year.

The NTRC said in a release that this year’s recipients are enrolled at the Fitz-Hughes Government School; St. Mary’s Roman Catholic School; Buccament Bay Government School; St. Martin’s Secondary School;Thomas Saunders Secondary School; and North Union Secondary School.

Students are nominated for the bursaries by school principals from various institutions across the state.
