SVG and Republic of Benin establish diplomatic relations

The Governments of the Republic of Benin and St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) have established diplomatic relations in accordance with the provisions of Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961.

The signing of the Joint Communiqué took place in New York on October 3, 2023.

The Joint Communiqué was signed on behalf of the Government of SVG by Inga Rhonda King, Ambassador of SVG to the United Nations. The Joint Communiqué was signed on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Benin by Marc Hermanne Araba, Ambassador of the Republic of Benin to the United Nations.

The Governments are desirous of strengthening the friendly relations and developing mutual beneficial cooperation in various fields. (API)
