Technical College students donate fruit baskets to residents at the Thompson Home

Residents at the Thompson Home located at Richmond Hill, in Kingstown received a gift of fruits last week Friday, April 7 from a group of college students.

The donation was made by members of the Inter-School and College Christian Fellowship, (ISCCF), of the Division of Technical and Vocational Education (DTVE), of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC).

The President of the DTVE ISCCF, Jolesiia Pope and member, Rackiem Defreitas presented fruit baskets as a way of demonstrating love to the elderly.

Pope said she hopes that the residents of the home, who are senior citizens, felt their love, and that the group was happy to make them feel special on “Good” Friday.

Pope explained that this is part of the mandate of the ISCCF, to have outreach/mission programmes to share the love of Jesus.

The DTVE branch of the ISCCF was revived in 2022 after a prolonged period of dormancy.
