Prison Staff shocked at sudden death of their colleague

THE SUPERINTENDENT and Staff at His Majesty’s Prisons have expressed shock at the sudden death of one of their colleagues.

Prison Officer, Ashkelon Henry of Peruvian Vale died suddenly on Monday, February 6, at his home, a release from the Prison Services states.

Henry was appointed to the Prison Service on December 12, 2005. “His passing has shocked us all, and he will be greatly missed,” the release states.

The Superintendent and Staff of the prisons have extended deep condolences to Henry’s immediate family, relatives, and friends.

“May all who mourn be comforted in this time of bereavement, and may he find peace and rest in the arms of his maker,” the release concludes.
