Sagicor Financial Company names new CEO

Sagicor Financial Company Ltd. (TSX: SFC, “Sagicor” or “the Company”) has named its group chief operating officer and chief financial officer, as its new chief executive officer (CEO).

In a release, the insurance company said Andre G. Mousseau will succeed Dodridge D. Miller who retires as president and chief executive officer at the end of March, 2023.

Mousseau’s assumption to the position as CEO is effective from April 1, 2023. He will also join the Board of Directors on that date.

Miller will step down from his current executive duties after more than 30 years of service to Sagicor, including serving as president and chief executive officer since 2002, the company’s release states.

He will continue to serve on Sagicor’s Board of Directors.

Miller said he is delighted to pass the baton to Andre Mousseau with whom he has worked very closely over the last four years and has been instrumental in the execution of many of Sagicor’s strategic initiatives during this time.
