PM out of state
PRIME MINISTER, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, is currently out of state to take part in a number of engagements.
A release from the Agency for Public Information said the Prime Minister left the state on Saturday, October 8 to travel to Barbados where he attended a security meeting, and on Sunday October 9 he joined the rest of the Caribbean in paying tribute to deceased social activist, Robert “Bobby” Clarke at Barbados’ Golden Square Freedom Park. Gonsalves traveled to St Lucia yesterday, October 10 to meet with the Director General of the Organisation of the Eastern Caribbean States, Dr. Didacus Jules and his colleague Prime Minister, Philip J. Pierre to discuss regional matters.
Later yesterday, he returned to Barbados to attend the CARIFORUM- EU Ministerial meeting that takes place today and tomorrow, October 11 and 12.
The Prime Minister is due to return to the state on October, 12.
