SVG Association of Georgia to stage ‘We are Vincy’ campaign for Independence
THE STVINCENT and the Grenadines Association of Georgia (SVGGA), a newly established organization, was officially launched ahead of the celebration of the 43rd anniversary of independence of St.Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). And, as part of the month of activities the USA-based organisation will be highlighting businesses and other things Vincy. SVGGA kicked off its launch by unveiling its logo, rendering homage to SVG, and including a nod to Georgia.
The organization also revealed several upcoming events slated to take place in October in observance of national independence celebrations, a release states. Events comprise congratulatory messages from the Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar and the newly appointed Consul General of SVG to the USA, Rondy McIntosh. Observance will continue with the SVGGA health forum on diabetes prevention on October 22, a live stream of the SVG flag raising in NewYork City, Independence Day on October 27, and an SVGGA Vincy Independence Day meet-up in Georgia on October 29.
Throughout October, the SVGGA will also highlight Vincentian business owners in Georgia and St.Vincent and the Grenadines in its “We are Vincy” campaign.
The month of recognition will conclude with video introductions of the executive board members of St Vincent and the Grenadines Association of Georgia. The release says the celebrations are not only to announce the association but also to honour the Vincentian culture and form an atmosphere of inclusion among Vincentians and Caribbean nationals across the Diaspora.
