Imperial Champions Toastmasters Club elects new executive

The Imperial Champions Toastmasters Club has appointed a new executive for the period July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.

The executive members are: President- Jenieve Cato, Vice President Education – Moureeze Franklyn, Vice President Membership – Janeel King, Vice President- Public Relations – Shaquille Lewis, Secretary/Treasurer – Wendie Edwards-Wilson, Sergeant-At-Arms – Alicia Kirby, and Immediate Past President- Jacqui English-Jacobs.

The goals of the executive include attainment of an 11th term as President’s Distinguished Club.

This is the highest award from Toastmasters International to recognize clubs that consistently maintain a high standard of service to their members and community.

Imperial Champions Toastmasters Club will be commemorating the club’s 14th anniversary on October 22.

The executive is geared up for another successful Toastmasters year.

They have planned an exciting calendar of events which includes a youth leadership program, debate competition, open house and speech contest.

Persons who aim to build their communication and leadership skills may attend the club’s online meetings every first and third Thursday of the month, via Zoom at 6:00 p.m.
