Police probe theft in Mayreau

THE POLICE SAY they are investigating a series of Theft that occurred at Saline Bay, Mayreau which were reported to the police on March 5, 2022.

According to reports, between March 4 and March 5, 2022, on three separate occasions, an unknown person or persons reportedly stole three grey and red Yamaha two-stroke 40 horse-power outboard engines, two Cigarette boats and a quantity of fishing gear. The items, with total value of EC$47,305.00 were reportedly stolen from three residents of Mayreau.

The police are asking persons with information that can assist with this investigation to contact the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Crimes at 1-784-456-1339; the Officer in charge of the Grenadines Division at 1-784-457-1211; or any police station or police officer with whom you are comfortable. They promise that all information will be treated confidentially.
