NTRC’s 2021 MyApp Summer Program to be held in Canouan and Spring

THE NATIONAL Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) will host its sixth annual summer coding and application development initiative known as the MyApp summer program. This year the programs will run for one week each during the summer vacation at the Spring Garden Resort from August 9-13 and at the Canouan Secondary School from August 16-20 from 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m. daily, a release states.

The program will teach and expose participants between the ages of 13-18 years how to code using a pocket-sized computer known as the micro:bit. This will help participants

to gain insightful knowledge in coding as the demand for software developers is increasing.

Application forms are available at the office of the NTRC and via the website www.ntrc.vc. The deadline for applications is Wednesday July 28, 2021. A limited number of applications will be accepted and the registration cost for the program is $20 per participant.
