THE PRISON Department is saddened by the passing of Angus Fitzgerald Richards, who died on Saturday 3rd July, 2021. Mr. Richards was appointed to the Prison Service in 1994 and attained the rank of Senior Prison Officer.

He has rendered twenty seven years of outstanding service to Her Majesty’s Prisons. The loss of Mr. Richards has left a great void in the organisation and he will be greatly missed.

The Superintendent of Prisons and the entire prison staff wish to take this opportunity to extend deep and sincere sympathies and condolences to his immediate family, relatives and friends.

May he find peace and rest in the arms of his maker.
