BRAGSA pays out $3 million to road workers
The Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA), is paying out 3-million EC dollars to road workers this week and next week.
The Roads Buildings and General Services Authority-(BRAGSA) is making the payments to more than 6-thousand workers who were engaged in a recent 7-day road cleaning programme.
BRAGSA said in a release that the payments, totalling EC$3 million, began on Thursday, June 17, at various locations on the Windward end of the mainland and in the Northern Grenadines, under a modified format “in an effort to limit the amount of persons at the locations”.
Workers are therefore advised that the COVID19 protocols will be enforced, including the wearing of masks.
Payments for workers in Kingstown, the Southern Grenadines and the Leeward side of the mainland will be made next week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
