Harvest Bible Chapel is now Highpoint church

Harvest Bible Chapel, Arnos Vale, has announced that it has changed its name to Highpoint Church St. Vincent. The church said in a release that this comes more than two years after the dissolution of Harvest Bible Fellowship, the church planting organisation that planted the church in St. Vincent and The Grenadines (SVG) eleven (11) years ago.

Harvest Bible Chapel, Arnos Vale was established in 2010 by Al Blake and his wife Debbie Blake. The church initially held services at the Aquatic Club at Villa for many years before moving to its current location at Arnos Vale. It is home to more than three hundred and fifty (350) members who attend two services on Sundays at 9:00 am and 11:00 am, and meet in homes during the week in what is called Small Groups. Services are also broadcast weekly via Facebook and YouTube.

Al Blake, Senior Pastor of Highpoint Church stated that, “High Point allows us to continue to fulfil the great commission, and would help us to reach more people not only in SVG but also the Caribbean region.”

The name change is being carried out gradually over a period of six weeks under the theme, New Name. Same Identity’.

The release stated that members will continue to enjoy the same worship experience, the same ministry philosophy, and the same doctrine. The name change will empower the organisation to achieve its vision of becoming a church planting church in the Caribbean whilst caring for its members, staff, and community.
