CED to hold Record Keeping Seminar

A one-week seminar designed to help persons understand the importance of good record keeping and equip them with the tools to practice such begins tomorrow.

The Centre for Enterprise Development Inc. (CED) Financial Module 1: Introduction to Record Keeping Seminar will be held under the theme, “Good Record Keeping to Ensure Business Success”. It targets business owners, managers, accounts clerks, and other interested individuals responsible for the financial management in their organization, or those wishing to understand the fundamentals of financial management.

As the first Module in CED’s Financial Management training, the Record Keeping Seminar will provide participants with an understanding of the basics of book keeping. Participants will also learn how to record and depreciate fixed assets, record credit sales and payments, reconcile bank statements, and prepare petty cash books. They will also learn how to record cash sales and payments, prepare, analyze and interpret financial statements, as well as record keeping for Value Added Tax (VAT).

Twenty-five persons will attend the seminar, which takes place at the NIS Conference Room from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It ends on Monday, May 15.
