Don’t be mean – be clean!

EDITOR: Whoosh!!!! Through the taxi or minibus window it goes! What? An empty KFC box, a plastic bottle, or some other unwanted material. This has been a common practice by some persons for years now, and adults are often the culprits. Those who carry out such an unclean habit need to stop instantly and ask themselves: How would I feel if someone were to throw litter in my yard? Would I be pleased? Is it right for me to throw litter in the road or in some inappropriate area where it might end up in someone’s yard? Am I really in my right mind when I throw litter in the streets or in any unsuitable area, making that area look unsightly and disgusting? Am I really interested in our country being clean?

Let’s take pride in being a clean people and stop all littering. Almighty God makes it clear at Revelation 11:18 that he is going to “destroy them which destroy the Earth.” People, please, don’t be guilty of deliberately destroying the Earth, or else, destruction by God awaits you if you do not change and abide by his standards. Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14.  Show some love for God by caring for His beautiful Earth which he gave us freely as our home. Psalm 115:16; Isaiah 45:18. To the Earth, don’t be mean – be clean!
