EDITOR: I am extending my sincere sympathy to Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves and his family on the passing of his wonderful mother. She took solid care of her children during the times when things were quite rough, but more importantly, she brought us one of the most brilliant men of our generation, who practically brought St Vincent and the Grenadines from the ashes to what it is today.

We should be very proud to have her son as our great leader, and may she rest in peace.
