Editor: This is an open letter to the CEO of the Tourism Authority, the Minister of Culture and the area representative for East St George constituency.

As a frequent visitor to the Villa beach, I have noticed the deterioration of the boardwalk (though markedly worse and dangerous in specific areas in front of the Aquatic Club).{{more}}

During the vacation, the children who frequented the beach used the broken open area as a garbage bin. This is particularly unsightly, with all the corn curl wrappers etc.

As the tourist season approaches, I am appealing to the relevant persons to effect the necessary repairs to the broken pieces of wood and so prevent accidents and preserve the environment.
